Life is richer when you’re involved, when you’re participating and not just looking on. Here are some of the ways you might get involved in your community.
- Join a civic organization that provides the opportunity for leadership and collaboration on community issues.
- Volunteer in a community organization such as Habitat for Humanity, Friends of the Library, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
- Meet others who share your interest through a local club, from square dancing to cycling, book club to bridge, Civil War re-enactment to car restoration.
