52 Library Card Uses
Attend a lecture or workshop. Number 15 in a series of uses for your library card.
Your library is a place of learning, fun and ideas. Sometimes all at once.
We like to think our workshops fit that description. You can learn stagecraft from the Guthrie Theater’s teaching artists, find out how to knit that chunky sweater you’ve always wanted, release the writer hidden inside, and benefit in many other ways from experts brought to your branch location.
Library programming, supported by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, is at an all-time high. All of the 32 library locations for Great River Regional Library offer workshops and presentations for various age groups and interests. Most can be found listed on our Events calendar.
Look there, and talk with staff at your local library to find out what’s going on. Maybe it’s Lunch with a Master Gardener, or maybe it’s learning how to write a memoir or discover your family history. See what your library has to offer. Check it out!
