Blogs (web logs) are on-line journals where the famous, obscure, infamous and would-like-to-be-famous can tell their audience what's going on and what they want you to know. Often, they'll invite comments. You can join the conversation by using Great River Regional Library computers or our wireless connection.
Don't know where to begin? You can Google or visit a blog-specific site like blogs.com to browse and search. The blogs.com site has a tab for Top 10 Lists that opens to hundreds of top ten blog lists, such as 10 random blogs by celebrities, 10 popular CEO Blogs Worth Reading, 10 Popular Wine Blogs and many more. A lot of bloggers have created businesses and full-blown websites from their blogs, such as designmom. Others are more intimate, such as the blog by author Amanda Hocking.
If you're a Travel Channel lover, maybe you'd enjoy Samantha Brown's blog in which she writes about her favorite beaches, her bucket list and other topics.
