State Fair Discounts

The Minnesota State Fair is offering discounts to library card holders on September 2. They’re calling it Read & Ride Wednesday. The discounts apply to gate admission only, but adults save $2, seniors save $3 and children 5-12 save $2.

Artist begins work on Albany Public Library mural

Local artist Lisa Nicoll began painting the mural at the Albany Public Library on July 20. Work is progressing quickly, and she expects to have it completed in August. The painting is worked on before and during library open hours. Patrons have enjoyed watching Nicoll paint as well as discussing the mural with her.
