We buy thousands in the course of a year, and because we’re a public library we deliberately buy a broad variety, everything from comic books to classics. Staples Motley Coalition Launching "1000 Books Before Kindergarten"

The Staples Motley Early Childhood Coalition, Staples Motley ECFE and Great River Regional Library (GRRL) announce the launch of their 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Powerful Art Exhibit in Waite Park and Upsala

The Waite Park and Upsala Public Libraries are sharing a powerful art exhibit during February titled “and still counting….” The exhibit, a series of colorful quilt squares, is a memorial to the U.S. soldiers and Iraqi civilians killed in the Iraq War. Read more »

Food, Wine & Books

Downtown St. Cloud's Mi Famiglia Italian restaurant is hosting a library benefit on Thursday, Feb. 18, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The event is called “A Stroll Through Italy.” Approximately six stations will be set up featuring regional Italian food and wine pairings. Guests will be able to sample and savor the foods and learn about why the wine pairing was chosen. Read more »
