Have you thought of joining the Friends of the Library?
Thirty of the 32 branch libraries in Great River Regional Library (GRRL) have Friends of the Library groups. These dedicated community members advocate for libraries, sponsor library programs, host popular special events such as used book sales, and provide a source of much-needed volunteers. Read more »
Children and parents are invited to the Imagination Library kickoff event at the Long Prairie Public Library on Saturday, May 1 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. All parents with children under five years of age are encouraged to come and sign their children up in order to receive a free book each month until their fifth birthday. Children living in Todd County are eligible for the program. Read more »

"Aftermath," an exhibit of color images, documents what Midwest soldiers found when they liberated Nazi concentration camps in April and May of 1945. It will be available for viewing at the Paynesville branch of Great River Regional Library (GRRL) from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. Read more »
