"Make A Splash At Your Library" and "Make Waves At Your Library" ended Saturday, Aug. 14. Children ages 0-12 and area teens signed up in record numbers for these programs which encourage reading throughout the summer school vacation. Paynesville is the latest branch of Great River Regional Library to add Rosetta Stone language learning software on a dedicated computer. It joins Monticello and St. Cloud in providing this additional resource to language learners. Read more »

On Friday, Aug. 20, 2010 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. the Belgrade R.E.A.D. book club will meet to discuss "River of Doubt" by Candice Millard.
A review of this book stated that if "River of Doubt" were required reading in school, more people would fall in love with history. So true! Read more »
