Long Prairie's Thursday Night at the Park Concert Series
On Thursday, June 9, 7:00 p.m., join Prudence Johnson, on vocals and ukulele, and Dean Magraw, on guitar, as they welcome in Long Prairie's 2011 Thursday Night at the Park Concert Series. Dog Narrates The Belgrade Library's June Bookclub Selection
Adults are invited to join the Belgrade Library R.E.A.D. (Read, Eat And Discuss) Book Club for adults, meeting the third Friday of each month. Meetings include friendly book discussion and dessert. "Princess" Movie Night At Paynesville Thursday Evening, May 26
Thursday, May 26 at 6 p.m., the Paynesville branch of Great River Regional Library will present Family Movie Night featuring an animated, feature-length retelling of the tale of Rapunzel.

New Faces at Pierz Public Library
In the last several months, two new faces have smiled and welcomed patrons at the Pierz Public Library. A new branch assistant, Joan Stuckmayer (on left in photo) has joined the staff in Pierz. She may be familiar to many, for she also holds the same position in Little Falls. Eleven years ago, she relocated to Pierz from Elk River, where she had been an avid library user. Read more »

Local Wood plus High School Talent Equals Beautiful Library Furniture in Long Prairie
Locally grown, sustainably harvested wood; generous people with pickup trucks; talented high school students; and a great industrial arts teacher have all come together to provide the Long Prairie Public Library with beautiful new computer tables.
