Teen and Youth Book Club at Pierz Public Library
In June, the Pierz Public Library started a youth and teen book club. Many expressed interest in joining. There are twelve youth book club members. They are very excited about the club. Most took part in reading aloud, but some chose to hang back. Read more »
Cool Off Concerts in the Park, Buffalo, MN
It is predicted that this Thursday is supposed to be sweltering hot. Why not load up the kids and travel to Buffalo, MN for Concerts in Sturges Park on cool and breezy Buffalo Lake. The performance will start at 7:00 p.m. and the band is the “Killer Hayseeds.” The “Hayseeds” is a country/rock band with plenty of fans and a high energy show. Read more »

Storytime Tuesdays at Becker Library
After a short break, Storytime is back at the Becker Library.
Storytime is held every Tuesday starting at 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Enjoy stories, music and crafts with upcoming themes: Library Tales, Fall, Dinosaurs, and Mother Goose. Preschoolers ages 3-6 are invited to attend. No registration is necessary.
River Bats Give Pointers at the Library
Members of the St. Cloud River Bats Baseball Team stopped by the Al Ringsmuth Public Library on Tuesday, June 14 to help kick off the Summer Reading Program with a baseball mini-camp. Read more »

Music Fun at Rockford Library
Melodies will abound at Rockford Library thanks to local musicians, Carol Moore and Tim Lungstrom. Monday, June 13 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. the Tim and Carol Duo will perform a free concert of folk, jazz, and light pop vocals with acoustic guitar for all ages.
