Minnesota Book Awards Finalists Announced
Finalists for the Minnesota Book Awards have been announced. The Minnesota Book Awards are selected annually in eight categories by judges around the state. Winners among books published in 2011 will be announced at the Minnesota Book Awards Gala on Saturday, April 14.

January/February Photography Exhibit St. Cloud
The work of photographers Carol Weiler and Jerry Gerads is currently on display at the St. Cloud Public Library through Feb. 29, 2012 in their exhibit "2 the Eye: European Photographs." Gerads and Weiler have traveled North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Central America, taking photographs and observing the culture. Read more »
Area Students Decorate Waite Park Walls with Murals
Students from the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University recently completed two creative murals decorating walls at the Al Ringsmuth Public Library in Waite Park. The murals were completed for an art class. One is in the children's area and one (pictured) faces the library's checkout desk. The murals reward close inspection. Read more »

Kimball Library Sparkles
Kimball’s National Honor Society adopted the library as one of their service projects this school year. On December 29, ten students arrived at the library ready to work. They removed books from the library shelves and dusted before returning the materials to their clean home. Read more »
