The Becker Public Library, with the help of local artist, Alison Love Unzelman, is sponsoring a Collaborative Mural Project for the library. This project is a community effort and we are inviting people of all ages (adults, teens and children two and older) to participate. Cokato Rainy Day Tea Party a Thundering Success

On Saturday, April 14, 2012 the Friends of the Cokato Area Library (FOCAL) hosted 111 guests at their 6th Tea Party Fundraiser themed Rainy Day and together raised over $3,500 through ticket sales, auction baskets and cookbook sales.

Money raised through the FOCAL group supports Cokato Public Library’s programming and future library expansion project. Read more »

Hopper Leaps Into Reading at Howard Lake

Hopper the Frog joined a group of twelve children attending a Leap Into Reading storytime at the Howard Lake Public Library on Wednesday, April 18. The group listened attentively to froggy stories, sang songs, made fun frog masks, and then checked out books to take home.
