The Bug Guy a Big Hit in Staples
The Bug Guy Legacy program was a big hit at the Staples Public Library on June 19. There were 105 children and adults in attendance. Everyone seemed to be thoroughly engaged in the program activities. All different types of spiders were shown and interesting facts were shared about each one. "Medicine Show" Vaudeville Trio in Paynesville Thursday Evening, June 28.
This Thursday evening (June 28), from 6:00 - 8:00 pm,"The Medicine Show" will provide the tonic you need! These three talented musicians and showmen perform great music from the vaudeville era. With great bits, tap-dancing, magic, great songs, unique instrumentation and a whole lot of experience, these guys just make it happen. Read more »
Okee Dokee Brother Has Royalton Roots
Jed Anderson, the tall drummer in the Okee Dokee Brothers band, calls Royalton home. Anderson is a 2003 graduate of Royalton High School. His family continues to live in Royalton. His mother, Connie, was making brunch for the members after their performance at the Royalton Public Library the morning of Thursday, June 21. Read more »

Hopper, the library’s Leap Into Reading mascot, jumped right into the picture at the Royalton Public Library’s Leap Into Reading Storytime on Wednesday, June 20. Teens Own The Night In Glowing T-Shirts
Kaylee, Hunter and Caylyn stopped by the St. Cloud Public Library on Wednesday, June 20 to make Black Light T-Shirts. Staff put T-shirts and black light activated painting supplies in a Conference Room in the St. Cloud Teen Area, and any teen who visited could create a fun T-shirt artwork while supplies lasted. Lawn Care Tips from Master Gardeners in St. Cloud
Caring for your lawn is a month-by-month activity. This Thursday, June 21 from 12:30-1:30 p.m., St. Cloud Public Library will present a workshop focusing on lawn care tips, including how to lower the inputs needed for your lawn to help conserve time, money, and the use of products. Read more »
Clearwater Enjoys New Location
Wow! That is what everyone is saying when they walk into the new Clearwater Library. The 3750 sq. ft. space is considerably larger than the old location. The additional space provides a meeting room, teen section, and places for readers to relax. Read more »

Waite Park Leaps Into Reading
Volunteer Elisha Willenbring presented a Leap Into Reading storytime at the Waite Park Public Library - Al Ringsmuth Public Library on Tuesday, June 12. Hopper, the library's giant frog Leap Into Reading mascot, was also on hand. Willenbring has been presenting storytimes at the library for two years. When she's not at the library she is a kindergarten teacher. Read more »
