St. Cloud's got Olympic Spirit! For the duration of the Games, you can find a trivia quiz upstairs at St. Cloud Public Library. You will find the trivia questions on the wall of the glass study room opposite the elevator doors. Behind all but one question is its answer. "Leap Into Reading" is a Minnesota Department of Education Initiative encouraging families to read together. We have a program scheduled at the Staples Public Library on Tuesday, Aug. 7 (6:00 to 6:30 p.m.). Branch Assistant Angie Johnson will lead a "Light up The Night With Storytime" for preschool through second-grade children. Read more »
Join a group of book lovers at the St. Cloud Public Library on Wednesday, July 25 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The group will discuss Tatiana de Rosnay's novel A Secret Kept. Come for the conversation, stay for the friendships. The group will meet in room 259 on the upper level.
Volunteer storyteller Elisha Konz finished her summer storytime series with a Leap Into Reading event at the Waite Park Public Library - Al Ringsmuth Public Library on Tuesday, July 17. A group of eight preschoolers and a toddler enjoyed hearing Elisha read books about nocturnal animals. Read more »

More than 30 children and ten adults attended the Leap Into Reading storytime at the Cold Spring Public Library on July 11. The library was packed. Storytimes usually take place in a designated meeting room, but the library is in a building that houses City of Cold Spring offices, and other city employees were meeting. Read more »
Children took over the Richmond Public Library for a Leap Into Reading storytime on Wednesday, July 11. Richmond's library doesn't have a meeting room, so programming presents challenges at any time. One solution has been to schedule storytime during closed hours. Children can then spread out and do craft and other activities without being in the way of other patrons. Read more »
