Reading Provides Adventure For St. Michael Teen

Participants in the library’s Summer Reading Program were eligible for a Blue Ribbon Reader prize drawing. But first they had to write a short essay on why they love reading. Drawing winners at each Great River Regional Library location were submitted to a region-wide drawing. St. Michael’s local drawing winner was Mackenzie Burke, 14, from St. Michael. Read more »

Belgrade's READ Book Club to Celebrate 5-Year Anniversary

Belgrade Library's READ (read eat and discuss) Book Club will be celebrating their five-year anniversary on Friday evening, Sep. 21 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. In September of 2007 Will Weaver's "Sweet Land" was selected as the club's first read. Clearwater Settles Into New, Larger Space

Clearwater Settles Into New, Larger Space

The Clearwater Public Library moved to new premises at 740 Clearwater Center in June, and celebrated with a Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, July 21. The new premises are very close to the old library building in the same commercial center. It has easy access and plenty of parking. The move has provided additional space that can be used for meetings, programming and more shelving. Read more »
