Soil Rocks! Staples Program Educates Children on Soil Matters

St. John's Arboretum staff visited the Staples Public Library on Aug. 5 to provide "dig in the dirt" activities for our young patrons. They took soil samples and demonstrated with hands-on activities and skits about the good and bad creatures below the surface. Willmar artist Donna Jean Carver exhibits her collection of animal and floral acrylic paintings at the Waite Park library through the end of September.
