In November and December, the Waite Park Public Library will host storytimes and reading programs for children ages 0-6.
Saturday, Nov. 2, from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. the College of St. Benedict Blazers Women’s Tennis Team will read to children ages 3-6. The Blazers team will read at the library every Saturday in November. Read more »
Author and 1998 Kimball High School graduate Gwen Anderson will visit the Kimball Library on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10:00 a.m. Gwen was a normal teacher, married for just over two years, when her personal storm broke. Gwen was diagnosed with breast cancer and faced an unexpected divorce. Read more »

Pam Schoon, retired Language Arts instructor and life-long avid mystery reader, will guide the audience through the history of mystery books, the types of mysteries available today and talk about her favorite mystery writers. As we celebrate National Friends of the Library week, I would like to recognize members of the Eagle Bend Area Friends of the Library. Central Minnesota Legal Services is now offering a free legal advice clinic to assist persons with matters of family and/or estate and probate law.
Advice clinics will be held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the St. Cloud Public Library from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. The next clinic will be Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013. Read more »
Teens and children 16 and younger have an opportunity to read down fines on their library cards.
During Teen Read Week, October 13 to 18, holders of minor library cards who have fines related to late return of materials may pay off those fines simply by reading at the library. Read more »
