This summer, kids can play "Science Lab Peril!" at the Paynesville Public Library. This is a cooperative game which pits the brave and clever Paynesville Summer Reading Program participants and Doctor Luminous Brightbulb, and his laboratory (Brightbulb Innovations), against the treacherous Professor Oddball and his lab, Oddball, Inc. Nancy Leasman, author, master gardener and herbalist, along with her husband Ron, introduced the process of making wine vinegar to an audience at the Annandale Public Library. Patrons from several communities came to enjoy a wonderful and informative presentation on making vinegar. Read more »
Staples Book Club members LaVonne Selleck and Evelyn Killian volunteered with Library Assistant & Book Club Facilitator Bev Anderson in distributing books at Jon's Family Foods for the World Book Night event. It didn't take long for the books to disappear! LaVonne, Evelyn and Bev were a part of a group of 25,000 volunteers going out into 6,000 towns and cities across America. Read more »
