Make Art at Mosaics Workshops with Lisa Arnold
It’s hard to have a bad day when you’re working with materials as beautiful as stained glass and ceramic tile!
Accomplished mosaic artist Lisa Arnold is teaching a series of workshops at Great River Regional Library branches. She’s sharing with school-age children the joy of mosaics as they learn the craft. Arnold introduces students to mosaic art materials, tools, technique and design. The students are able to experiment with different types of stained glass and tile, learn various cutting and shaping techniques, use numerous tools, and create their own work of art! They design and create a mosaic wooden frame for indoor display. You can view examples of Arnold’s artwork online.
