Alzheimer's Topic of Belgrade Library's Next Author Visit
Join us this Friday evening, April 26, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Belgrade Public Library to hear author Nancy Paddock's story of her parents' decline due to Alzheimer's, and the challenges and choices for care that she and her sisters faced while confronting this tragic disease. These events were chronicled in Nancy's memoir titled "A Song at Twilight of Alzheimer's and Love," a Minnesota Book Awards winner for memoir and creative nonfiction.
Nancy Paddock is also the author of two poetry collections: "Cooking with Pavarotti" (2012) and "Trust the Wild Heart" (2006) which was a Minnesota Book Awards finalist. Her poems have also appeared in many journals and anthologies. Nancy lives and gardens in Litchfield with her husband, Joe. She writes and does other work in support of sustainable and environmentally sound agriculture.
This program is supported by the Minnesota Book Awards through a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education State Library Services and the Minnesota Library Foundation. The Minnesota Book Awards is a project of the Friends of the St. Paul Library and the City of St. Paul.
