Belgrade selects classic for November meeting of the R.E.A.D. Book Club

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was Mark Twain's first novel (the first he authored by himself). By the time this book was published in 1876, Samuel L. Clemens was already well known by his pen name Mark Twain, which he adopted in 1863.  In this novel, Tom Sawyer, a boy who lives with his aunt on the Mississippi River in Missouri, has all kinds of adventures, most of which involve misbehaving in some way. The R.ead E.at A.nd D.iscuss book club meets every 3rd Friday of the month.
