ERIC DREGNI, AUTHOR OF "IN COD WE TRUST," TO VISIT BELGRADE LIBRARY
Eric Dregni lived in Trondheim, Norway for a year as a fellowship recipient where he survived a dinner of "rakfisk" (fermented fish) and discovered his great-grandfather's house in Lusterfjord. Eric will read excerpts from his comedic novel and show slides from his time in Norway on Tuesday, May 25, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Belgrade Public Library.
Dregni is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and has written and co-written a number of books on various recreational activities and aspects of Minnesotan, Norwegian and Italian culture. Several titles include, "Never Trust a Thin Cook and Other Lessons from Italy's Culinary Capital" - the food-obsessed chronicle of his three years in Italy, and "Minnesota Marvels" - a humorous guide to the offbeat and bizarre attractions along MInnesota's highways.
These titles and others by Eric Dregni are available through Great River Regional Library. Check them out!
This project was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage fund (ACHF). Seven ACHF events are scheduled at the Belgrade Library through June. Check the events calendar for details!
