The Cokato Library Gets Crafty!
Cokatoites spend the fall getting crafty!
Cokato Public Library has offered two crafting classes this fall: Steampunk Jewelry and Fun-Kins. The sold out steampunk jewelry-making class was presented by artist Jen Anfinson. Each participant made a one-of-a-kind necklace created from a variety of unexpected parts: watch faces, clock gadgets, keys, miscellaneous pieces from old jewelry (chains, beads, latches, pendants), buttons and more. In the Fun-Kins class participants took papier mache pumpkins and turned them into FUN and unique pumpkins. Coming up on Nov. 27 is a holiday craft that will teach us how to make ornaments using paper quilling techniques. The library is taking registrations, call today at 320-286-5760 and reserve your spot.
