Library Card Signup

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month, a time when libraries across the country remind people that owning a library card is a very smart thing to do.
If you are a resident of Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd or Wright County, you are entitled to own a Great River Regional Library (GRRL) card free of charge. You will then have more than 900,000 items available to you. Stop by any of the 32 GRRL locations and you can browse the shelves for books, magazines, music CDs, audiobooks and DVDs. Use a library computer (or your own computer) to access the rest of the collection through the catalog. You can place holds and have items delivered to your local library. You can download digital eBooks and eAudiobooks. And if you don't see what you are looking for on our catalog, you can suggest a title for purchase. We want to know what you're looking for.
Children enjoy not only the extensive collection of children's books and videos, but also the fun and educational programming we provide from birth: Baby Bounce, Toddler Time and Storytime. Our programming continues through the teen years and into adulthood, with craft programs, music programs, author talks and other topics of popular interest.
Your GRRL card will be honored at most public libraries in Minnesota, and interlibrary loan makes their collections your collection.
Be more informed, save money, and be entertained, all by using your library card.
All we require is proof of address and a completed application.
Your library card will be the smartest card you own.
