Get Creative @ Saving for School this Summer

Children taking part in the library Summer Reading Program have a chance to put $1,000 toward their college education.
The “Get Creative @ Saving for College” sweepstakes will distribute $22,500 in cash awards across Minnesota to families with children enrolled in the Summer Library Program, “Get Creative @ Your Library.”
Here’s how it works
Sweepstakes entry forms are available at all 32 Great River Regional Library (GRRL) branch libraries. For each child enrolled in the Summer Reading Program, a parent or guardian may complete and submit a sweepstakes entry form (one form per child). The parent must be at least 18 and the child must have been born after 1995.
Fifteen winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted by the Minnesota Department of Education State Library Services. Each winner will receive a Grand Prize of $1,000 cash that can be designated toward a Minnesota College Savings Plan. So as well as getting ahead in their reading, children can get ahead on saving for college.
In addition, the Minnesota library in which each winner participates will also receive a $500 cash award.
Entries must be postmarked by August 21 and received by August 28. Prize drawing will take place September 5.
Get Creative @ Saving for College” is sponsored by the Minnesota College Savings Plan and the Minnesota Department of Education State Library Services.
