Author William Kent Krueger Visit to Grey Eagle

"It was a dark and stormy night..." as spoken by author William Kent Krueger at the beginning of his author talk at Grey Eagle. Stormy indeed, but that didn't stop die-hard fans from coming to meet one of their favorite authors on Friday, June 21. The event was held in an oval community room at a local retirement home. Half was open to windows, making this venue the most perfect place for a murder mystery talk. With every lightning strike and boom of thunder, Krueger grinned as he spoke about his Cork O'Connor series and the different Minnesota locations in which the stories take place.
He was such a delightful, a genuine and appreciative man. He shared that he has such a special place in his heart for libraries and especially librarians who prompted his love of reading. Anyone who hasn't met Krueger, you will not be disappointed if you do, as he is such a kind person and entertaining speaker.
