Civil War Quilting Program at Grey Eagle Library
Part history lesson, part craft class, this quilting program at Grey Eagle Public Library will cover the important role quilts played in the Civil War, women's roles during the war, and Minnesota's connections to the war. The program is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 6, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Learn about the types and colors of fabrics and patterns that can be used to start your own Civil War reproduction quilt project. Create a miniature Civil War quilt. Registration required, limit 12.
