High $5 for GRRL

Life is better with a library. We have more than 950,000 items at our libraries, all cataloged and available to you no matter which one of our branch libraries you use. We help make your work and play more fulfilling, interesting, and enjoyable. Our staff help you find what you need, our programs inform and entertain you, and we play a vital part in helping young children develop skills that make them successful in their communities. They need never be bored if they have access to a library.

Each year, we invite library users to make a high $5 contribution to their library as part of the library's ongoing fundraising. We feel that almost everybody can afford $5, and it's a small portion of the value we provide.

We have nearly 140,000 cardholders. In 2012 they checked out 4,072,502 items. In addition to the use of books, magazines, CDs, DVDs and audiobooks, the library's digital resources have become an important, growing part of our activity. Your donation can help us expand our collections and help your local branch library provide the services you use.
