A Doggone Good Time

The anniversary celebration for R.E.A.D. brought together 4 pairs of dogs and their handlers and nearly 40 youth readers plus their parents. The two-hour event on Saturday, November 14th was a success. The Howard Lake Community Room was abuzz with the sound of young voices taking turns reading to Penny, Sara, Jack & Keira.

City of Howard Lake Celebrates Friends' History

The Howard Lake City Council recognized the Howard Lake Friends of the Library for its fundraising and volunteer efforts by proclaiming Oct. 18- 24 to be "Howard Lake Friends of the Library Week."
