January Programs

Whatever age you are and whatever your interest, Great River Regional Libraries offer programming you can enjoy.

All 32 libraries in Great River Regional Library (GRRL) are offering A Reading Wonderland, the Winter Reading Program for adults and teens. It begins Jan. 4. Register for the program, read what you enjoy and earn drawing slips for prizes.

The Minnesota Zoomobile will visit many of our libraries in the coming months, bringing animals and naturalists to talk about animal habitats.

The professional multi-racial group Mixed Blood Theatre will perform at Melrose, Cokato and Swanville in January.

You can do Knitting 102 at Delano, enjoy Needlework Nights at Belgrade, join the Knit and Stitch Group in Pierz or become one of the Stitchettes in Waite Park.

Teens and Tweens will be Scrapbooking in Delano and joining fellow Anime fans in Elk River and Big Lake.

You can Read With Royalty in Foley, have Lunch with a Master Gardener in Delano, or listen to Author Talks from Ryan Gale in Elk River and Jill Elizabeth Nelson in Big Lake.

And if you live or work in St. Cloud, maybe you’ll want listen to local professors discuss St. Cloud’s Economy: Past, Present and Future.

These opportunities and many more are posted on the library’s Events page. Check it out. Fun and interesting programs are always going on at GRRL.
