Kimball Steampunk Jewelry Program is a Hit!
The Steampunk Jewelry Program at Kimball was filled to capacity with eager library patrons who had come to learn about this innovative, creative style of jewelry making.
On Saturday, Feb. 8, attendees braved the cold to come to the Kimball library to learn how to assemble unique pieces of jewelry made from recycled pieces and parts from items such as watches, clocks, chains and necklaces. Guided by Paynesville artist Jen Anfinson, attendees created unique, personalized jewelry. Based on attendee feedback, this program was "awesome," "a great starter course," and "something new and creative."
