Library Card Sign-Up
Do you have your library card?
You should. If you use information. If you want to know what's going on in the world. If you're a culture junkie. If you want to save money. If you want to improve your life and explore your potential.
We're biased, but at the library we think we have the best deal in town: a library card for each member of the family, no charge at all. Every child and every adult should have their own library card so they can explore all the library has to offer.
Right now, staff members are planning a new season of programs with talented authors, musicians and speakers visiting all of our libraries. In just a few weeks, we'll launch our new digital library page with downloadable e-books and e-audiobooks for people on the run, on the beach and in the car. We continue to provide practically unlimited reading resources for research, enlightenment and pleasure.
So if you're a child just starting to read, a teenager on assignment, or a retiree looking for a winter getaway, your library is the place to be. September is national Library Card Sign-Up Month, a good time to make use of the smartest card in your wallet: your library card. Get it. Use it.
