Listen to the Music
We've got the best of all kinds of music. Whether you're a fan of the classics or a fan of what's hot right now, you can find it on the library catalog. Our patrons keep us in touch. When they make requests we begin making purchases. That's why you can always find what's popular now. And those CDs add to what we already have, making the collection bigger and better.
You can see a sampling of what we've recently purchased by looking at the Music CDs list on the New, Best and Fun page. It’s a list the library’s music selectors create to let you know about CDs recently added to the catalog. You'll find new stars, such as Lana Del Rey. Country favorite Taylor Swift is on there. So is Norah Jones's country band the Little Willies. For something completely different you could try sonic.art saxophone quartet and their Works for Saxophone Quartet, award-winning modern classical music. Speaking of classics, Dion has a new CD out called Tank Full of Blues, and Paul McCartney's new release is Kisses On The Bottom. This is an active list with new items appearing every week.
Browse the list and place your holds, and while you are waiting for them to arrive, go see what's in the rack at your local library. Great River Regional Library has great music. Whatever you enjoy, you'll find some at the library.
