Custom Quilts Provide Seasonal Flavor in Long Prairie
You always know what season it is at the Long Prairie Public Library.
Branch Assistant Mary Koczur has a wall hanging for for every time of the year, and generously brings them in to share with staff and patrons. The large quilt behind the desk is new this year. Mary created it especially for where it is hanging. It's just about the first thing you see when you walk in the door and many, many people have commented on how very nice it is.
You'll have to make a trip out to Long Prairie if you want to see the American flag Mary quilted. It used to hang in the library around the fourth of July, but so many commented on how much they liked it, it now has a permanent home at the library.
