Long Prairie Hosts Exhibit on Minnesota's Civic Legacy
The Long Prairie Public Library is hosting a traveling exhibit on "Minnesota's Civic Legacy." The exhibit is from the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota, and includes photographs and text of 18 successful rehabilitations of publicly owned properties across the state.
The recently rehabilitated Todd County Courthouse in Long Prairie is one of the featured projects. Also included are the Little Falls Carnegie Library and the Kimball City Hall, both of which house branches of Great River Regional Library.
The exhibit can be viewed through July 24, 2013 during regular library hours: Mondays and Thursdays 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
