Author William Kent Krueger at Paynesville Library September 14
Saturday, September 14 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., author William Kent Krueger will visit the Paynesville Public Library to discuss his books, writing, and his latest title, Ordinary Grace. Krueger writes a mystery series set in the north woods of Minnesota. His protagonist is Cork O’Connor, the former sheriff of Tamarack County and a man of mixed heritage — part Irish and part Ojibwe.
Krueger's work has received a number of awards including the Minnesota Book Award, the Loft-McKnight Fiction Award, the Anthony Award, the Barry Award, and the Friends of American Writers Prize. Northwest Angle (2011) and Trickster's Point (2012) were New York Times bestsellers. Attendance is limited to 60, and pre-registration is recommended.
