Sign Up For Email Notification To Save Time, Money....And Trees!
With just a few clicks and a few keystrokes, you can join over 61,300 Great River Regional Library (GRRL) cardholders who are saving time and money (for themselves and the library) and conserving paper while they do it. Sign up for email notification, and GRRL will email you when your hold is ready to be picked up. The email is generated automatically within one hour of the hold item being checked in at your branch library. We will also send an emailed reminder three days in advance of the return due date. You save potential fine costs and get holds notification quickly, and the library saves printing costs for phone lists, long distance phone fees and staff time making the phone calls. It's a Win/Win for everyone, and it's easy to do!
To sign up, call or visit your local GRRL branch library, and library staff will sign you up. Or you can log on to your online account, click on "Profile," type your email address into the text box near the bottom of the page (under "Email Information"), and click the "Update" button. Add "email@example.com" to your address book or spam filter program just to be sure the emails don't get filtered to a spam file, then you're done.
