Pierz Presents the American GI During WWII
Do you have an interest in WWII, and want to know more about the citizen soldier who was there? Come to the Pierz Public Library to experience a program where artifacts are shared and stories are told of everyday men and women who changed the world. Learn about the food the common soldiers ate, the uniforms they wore, the weapons they used and the enemy they faced.
The program will be presented by Charles Paulter. He has worked for the Minnesota Historical Society for 15 years and is the site manager of the Charles A. Lindbergh State Historic Site in Little Falls. He has a keen interest in military history, with an emphasis on artifacts and what they tell us about our military past. He has lectured on US Army material culture for over a decade.
This program will be take place on Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Preregistration is appreciated.
