Postcard Notifies Parents Children Welcomed to Library

The library welcomes all ages to the library and believes that everybody benefits by having a library card. Parents are responsible for materials their minor children check out, so the library believes parents will want to know when their minor children register for a library card and acquire borrowing privileges. Therefore, if a parent or guardian is not present when a minor registers for a library card, a new “GRRL welcomes your child to the library!” postcard will be mailed to them as a courtesy.
