Read-along Learning Site TumbleBooks Improved
TumbleBooks is getting even better.
More books, games and resources have been added to the children's learning site to make the TumbleBookLibrary experience better than ever!
If you don't already know, TumbleBooks is a collection of animated talking picture books available through Great River Regional Library online. TumbleBooks takes existing picture books, adds animation, sound, music and narration, and produces an electronic picture book kids can read or listen to from any computer - at home or at the library. Children learn because they enjoy it so much they want to visit again and again.
New to the collection are five classic Robert Munsch books and word search games. New non-fiction titles along with educator resources are coming next month. Kids and parents will find high quality recordings of other popular books, including classic fairy tales. The read-along stories combine large print with narration, so kids can see the text and listen as the highlighted sections are read aloud. New titles are being added all the time, so kids don't tire of visiting. TumbleBooks also includes a language learning section with a selection of books in Spanish and French, and enrichment activities to keep reading and learning fun.
