Music Fun at Rockford Library

Music Fun at Rockford Library

Melodies will abound at Rockford Library thanks to local musicians, Carol Moore and Tim Lungstrom. Monday, June 13 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. the Tim and Carol Duo will perform a free concert of  folk,  jazz, and light pop vocals with acoustic guitar for all ages. They’ve performed together for nine years and will take you down memory lane with their beautiful selections. Friends of the Rockford Library will provide refreshments.

Carol will return on Tuesday, June 14, 2:30-4:00 p.m., for a “Froggy Goes to Hawaii” workshop with kids ages 6-10. The story, songs, and the drama by participants will all add to the fun. (The following Tuesday, June 21, Carol will be back with a session on the Ice Cream King by Steve Metzer.) Please call Rockford Library, 763.477.4216 or register on www.griver.org, Events, to reserve a spot for the Tuesday programs.

Wednesday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m. Rachael Kroog will be at Rockford for a full hour of Kid Power! Rachael comes with high energy, great songs, and a love for kids that shows. Come and join the fun!

These programs are funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Find lots of other exciting programs on the “Events” page of the GRRL website.
