Professor Marvel delighted a large audience at the Royalton Elementary School's Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) spring event with his Amazing Archeological Adventure magic show. Willow Basket Weavers at Royalton Library

   The Royalton Public Library was bustling with activity on Saturday, March 7 when seven enthusiastic folks took part in a workshop to learn the art of willow basket weaving. The instructor, retired social worker Len Sharon, provided willow shoots which he harvests from wetlands near his home in rural Randall. He moved from student to student exhibiting patience and good humor. Read more »

Okee Dokee Brothers Receive Grammy Award

The Okee Dokee Brothers, previously a little-known duo based in Minneapolis, captured the 2013 Grammy for best children's recording Sunday, Feb. 10 for their album "Can You Canoe?" The songs on the album were based on a month-long trip the duo took paddling down the Mississippi River. Read more »
