Modern New Carpet Installed at Sauk Centre Library

Modern New Carpet Installed at Sauk Centre Library

The first week in September was quite the week at the Sauk Centre Library. We had the huge job of getting the library ready for new carpet. This included the task of removing items from the shelves, moving furniture, and other minor details. Thanks to the help of the staff and some volunteers, the work was done in no time. It was quite a smooth process.

The new carpet looks fantastic and gives a modern feel to the library. It was installed by using 2' x 2' carpet squares. This method was opted for as it will be easier to replace damaged squares in the future. The installers said they use the squares for the majority of their jobs now. The only place they ever really still use traditional carpet rolls is in prisons.

If you have time, please stop by and take a look at the new carpet. It looks fabulous. Thanks to the city for investing in our library.
