Art Crawl at the Library: A Peace of my Mind

Art Crawl at the Library: A Peace of my Mind

Two exciting art events are taking place at the St. Cloud Public Library this month!

A Peace of my Mind
An art hanging system was recently installed throughout the building, and the first exhibit to be displayed is John Noltner's "A Peace of my Mind." According to Noltner's website, "The goal is to create a collection of thoughts on peace from people with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences and to use that collection of interviews to foster a larger public conversation on the subject."
Regional Supervisor Michele Monson, who is site manager for the St. Cloud Public Library, is very excited about the display as well as the potential for bringing in other exhibits.
"I'm a little bit worried that we've set the bar too high with such an amazing first exhibit," Monson said. Noltner's exhibit will be on display at the St. Cloud Public Library through Saturday, March 19.

Art Crawl
The second exciting event will be the first-ever Art Crawl that includes the St. Cloud Public Library. The St. Cloud Art Crawl will take place on Friday, March 18. Galleries, studios, stores, and other establishments in downtown St. Cloud will throw open their doors for hundreds of art lovers from 5-9 p.m. The St. Cloud Public Library will now be a stop on the Crawl - showcasing the work of John Noltner. He will be in attendance to meet and greet and answer questions.
