Minnesota ZooMobile Draws Crowd in St. Cloud
It was standing room only at the St. Cloud Public Library when the Minnesota ZooMobile visited on Tuesday, June 8. The combination of a rainy day and animals made the library a super hot spot. The zoo brought a tarantula, a beautiful and chatty blue parrot, an armadillo, a skink and a possum. Staff member Justine S. helped out. That’s Justine with the parrot. To ensure kids at the back got to see the show the zookeeper carried animals to the back of the room. You can just about see her with the skink on a stick, to the left of the wall clock. The ZooMobile will be at all of the Great River Regional Library branches this summer. Check the Events page to see when it will be in your area.
This progam was funded in part with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
