Love horror books? Love birthdays? Here at the St. Cloud Public Library we're putting our dual loves together in one great program - Adult Story Time Celebrates Stephen King. On Saturday, Sept. 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon we'll be reading some of the best of King's short stories in room 268. Be prepared to be scared.
This "How To" workshop led by Master Gardeners will be about soils and how you can improve them by using compost. Learn tips on composting, how to build a compost bin, and what to compost.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, Sept. 18 at the St. Cloud Public Library, Room 208 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
It's the only open mic night for teens by teens. Have something original to say? We want to hear it! Bring your poetry, short story, song, or any other piece of writing to share at the St. Cloud Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. Speak your piece in the Mississippi Community Room.

For adults: Master Gardeners of Stearns County will be available to provide research based information from the University of Minnesota Extension on Thursday, June 19 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the library's Array Room.
