October Programming in High Gear in St. Michael
After a brief hiatus from intense summer programming at the St. Michael Library, we are enjoying an action-packed and fun-filled October calendar. In addition to the every Wednesday Preschool Story Time, look for our popular Toddler Time on Monday, Oct. 22 from 10:05 to 10:35 a.m. And once again there will be a Third Thursday Fun Day. This month's theme is "S'more Spooky Campfire Stories" on Oct. 18 from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Join us for fun, spooky stories and S'mores, of course! Abrakadoodle will be producing two art classes on Monday, Oct. 22: A Princess Art Class and a Pirate Art Class, funded in part by the Legacy money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. On Wednesday, Oct. 24, we will be welcoming back Count Whackula's "Things That Go Bump in the Night." This engaging and interactive magic program is a great way to motivate the kids to read during the fall season!
Don't forget about the fabulous Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be bargains of books galore! We will be rounding out our October events with a special pumpkin make and take craft on Halloween (all day). Come in costume and we'll reward you with a special treat!
As always, check the events page at www.griver.org/events for more information and to register for these exciting programs in October!
