Staples Motley Coalition Launching "1000 Books Before Kindergarten"
The Staples Motley Early Childhood Coalition, Staples Motley ECFE and Great River Regional Library (GRRL) announce the launch of their 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. The Coalition will be joining with the Staples Public Library branch of GRRL in offering this fun and exciting reading program for children ages 0-5 years.

Ellen Peters, currently Branch Manager of the Eagle Bend Public Library, is adding management of the Staples Public Library to her responsibilities, effective Sept. 21.

Staples Branch Manager Retires
Viretta Neidhardt, Branch Manager of the Staples Public Library, has retired from Great River Regional Library (GRRL) effective Tuesday, July 28.
The decision was not as surprising as it may appear as Neidhardt reduced her work schedule recently for personal reasons.

Staples Breaks Ground On New Library
A crowd of city representatives and library staff, architects, builders and schoolchildren gathered to celebrate as the City of Staples broke ground on a new Staples Public Library/City Office complex on Thursday, May 28.
