If you're a baby boomer and you don't need reading glasses, congratulations. For everybody else, maybe another option is to read large print editions.

The library buys large print versions of fiction and non-fiction books, including many popular titles. They are on the the large-print list on the New, Best & Fun page. Here are some titles from the list, which is updated frequently.
A Short Guide To A Long Life by David B. Agus, M.D., with common sense, easy-to-understand sections on what to do, what to avoid, and doctor's orders for enjoying a long life.
Your Life Calling by Jane Pauley, whe well known television journalist and baby boomer who writes about how to begin a new phase of life when many people are looking more at retirement as an end point.
Why I Read: The serious pleasure of books by Wendy Lesser, who for many years has edited a literary magazine. She explores novels and other forms of writing and explains what it is about them that makes them worth reading.
This Dark Road To Mercy by Wiley Cash, an Amazon Best Book of the Month, is a novel about two young sisters put into a foster home and then kidnapped by their father.
Popular authors David Baldacci, James Patterson, Marlo Thomas, Nora Roberts and Anita Shreve all have books on the list, as do many lesser known writers. Take a look. Check it out!
