Every Saturday from 2:30 to 4:45 p.m. homework helpers are available in the St. Cloud Public Library Children's Room to assist young students with math, science, English, or other academic studies. No registration or fees are required. Homework Help is free of charge on a walk-in basis.

The Elk River Public River recently presented a program titled World Of Music at the Library. It featured performers Leo and Kathy Lara. They are a husband and wife team who have been active as performers and educators within the Midwest since 1979. Fire Up your Kindle at the St. Cloud Library

   Come on down to the St. Cloud Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. to learn how to download library books to a Kindle Fire. Also learn what other applications are available for use with the device. Attendance is limited to 10, and preregistration is requested. This event will take place in Room 208 on the library's upper level.
