The St. Cloud Public Library's Book Club for adults will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. and again from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Array Community Room. The book for discussion is: The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold. Books bring people together, so come on down.
Central Minnesota Legal Services is now offering a free legal advice clinic to assist persons with matters of family and/or estate and probate law. Advice clinics will be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the St. Cloud Public Library from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Ask at the upper level Information Desk for meeting room location. St. John's Arboretum staff visited the Staples Public Library on Aug. 5 to provide "dig in the dirt" activities for our young patrons. They took soil samples and demonstrated with hands-on activities and skits about the good and bad creatures below the surface.
